About this Event

Winter is coming! Which means its time to rest! Join mental health non-profit Everyone's Healing and Zen Yoga Garage for Rest Camp Chicago, a one day retreat fundraiser for tired grown ups.

Together we will move, connect, and rest. Your Rest Camp Counselors are certified yoga instructor Melissa Talleda, writer Brittany Julious, and certified mindfulness instructor and Licensed Professional Counselor, Shanna Shrum. Together they will gently lead you through sessions of yoga, meditation, creativity, and most important REST!

And the best part? Your ticket cost goes directly to providing free and low cost therapy services to those who are uninsured and underinsured. So while you're resting you're helping to provide free and low cost therapy to those who need it! We'd call that a good way to spend a Saturday!

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move and rest in.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We also recommend you BYOB: Bring your own BLANKET! There will be lots of opportunities to lay down ;-)

What if I don't want to participate in one or more of the offerings?

That's totally fine! Rest Camp strives to be as trauma informed as possible and that means encouraging Campers to listen to themselves and only participate in what feels emotionally and physically safe to them.
