Resident Advisor and CTM team up again for a conference dedicated to the future of independent electronic music communities.Bringing together artists, organisers, technologists, venue operators, and cultural workers, Rethinking Music Ecosystems is an ongoing CTM festival thread. In collaboration with Resident Advisor, the one-day programme looks at how global electronic scenes are responding to mounting pressure from platform monopolies, venue closures, political instability, and economic precarity. As traditional industry models prove inadequate to these pressures, scenes across the globe are developing alternative approaches, from cooperative ownership structures and solidarity economies to decentralised technologies and community-owned spaces.
Details about the programme will be published in December.
