researchED Toronto - From Evidence to More Equitable Outcomes

Founded by Tom Bennett in 2013, researchED began as a single conference in London — a grassroots response to the gap between education research and everyday teaching.

researchED Toronto is our flagship Canadian event. Set in the heart of Canada's largest city at the historic Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, this conference unites world-class visionaries and Canada's top educators to harness the power of evidence-based practice in bridging the equity gaps for every student.

Leading the conversation this year is Kareem Weaver, a powerful advocate for literacy as a fundamental civil right; Zaretta Hammond, who bridges the gap between neuroscience and culturally responsive teaching; and Nick Gibb, a pivotal figure in UK education policy known for his unwavering focus on evidence-based standards. Together with other distinguished voices, they will dive deep into how scientific insights and proven methodologies can be translated directly into the classroom to elevate student achievement.
