About this Event
About this event: Reading about characters and experiences that reflect our own lives can help us understand ourselves better. Reading about experiences different from our own can help us develop empathy for others and broaden our horizons. Join researchers from The University of Edinburgh for a seminar about the representation of neurodivergence in young adult fiction, including insights from neurodivergent readers about what ‘good’ representation really looks like. Find about more about the project in advance of the session on our website: https://blogs.ed.ac.uk/literacylab/current-projects/neurodiversity-and-narrative-fiction/
