About this Event
The course consists of two workshops – part 1 on 26 November and part 2 on 10 December. One ticket covers both parts of the course. The Zoom link for part 1 will be emailed ahead of the session, and for part 2 will be emailed after the first session. These sessions will be interactive, engaging and will provide tools for you and your board to use in improving the governance of your museum. They are also an invaluable opportunity to network with other trustees, exchange ideas and be refreshed in your thinking about trustee induction.A good induction will enable your new trustees (first year) to become active and contribute more quickly and to greater effect to your museum. It is also a requirement of the Museum Accreditation scheme.AIM’s two session course is delivered by Hilary Barnard and Ruth Lesirge, the authors of AIM’s “Successful Governance for Museums” and acknowledged experts in charity governance.
