Repair, Restore, Renew: An open discussion about Adaptive re-use, Life Cycle Economics, and Restoration
As the AEC industry seeks more sustainable solutions for the built environment, the decision to repair, restore, adapt, or replace existing structures has never been more relevant. This panel brings together industry professionals for an open discussion on the opportunities and challenges of adaptive re-use, life cycle economics, and building restoration.
Panelists will explore how to extend the useful life of existing buildings, preserve original architecture, reduce environmental impacts, and deliver long-term practical value.
This session invites architects, engineers, contractors, developers, owners, and other AEC professionals to challenge conventional approaches, exchange ideas, and consider when renewing what already exists may be the most effective path forward.
Lunch is included! Space is limited.
Panelists include:
Melisa Gaudreau, Page-Turnbull (Architect/Historical Preservation)
Jesse Osmond, Soprema (Manufacturer)
Nathan Taylor, ECS (Building Enclosure/Forensics)
& More!
