The parade will muster at 10:15 am on Old Croft Lane (what3words: ///change.deflection.zooms) B36 9AL to allow for a prompt start to the service at 10:30 am.The service will take place outdoors and is weather permitting, so we ask everyone attending to dress appropriately for the conditions.
We also strongly recommend having a good breakfast before attending, particularly as participants may be standing still for a prolonged period.
The Remembrance Service is a solemn opportunity for our community to come together and remember all those who have served and sacrificed for us — including British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women, members of the emergency services, and civilians.
Their service and sacrifice helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today, and our annual ceremony provides an important opportunity to ensure that they are never forgotten.
