About this Event
In 2016, Indigenous environmental activist Berta Cáceres was killed in Honduras for defending land, water, and Indigenous rights. This event centers on learning about her work and legacy, while creating space to discuss how we can carry her vision forward through networks of solidarity and collective action
The event will include a screening of the documentary Water for Life, introduced by Professor Mo Hume.
The event is organised by the Glasgow Latin American Research Network, University of Glasgow.
