Join the UofG x SP Energy Networks Cyber Futures Event!


The University of Glasgow & SP Energy Networks are delighted to be co-hosting a Cyber Futures event as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2026.

This in-person event is your chance to connect with industry pros, learn about apprenticeships and discover how to kickstart your journey in the cyber field.

Cyber is a growth area providing strong career pathways and this event will guide you through the best route to suit you. There will be hands-on exhibits, cafe style demos, an expert panel, networking, and pizza!

What to expect:

  • Meet industry experts & career starters working in cyber-based roles
  • Explore opportunities to study cyber security in Higher Education
  • Support to navigate the many career opportunities in cyber security roles
  • It is a hungry time of day so pizza and drinks will be provided to fuel your curiosity

Who the event is for:

  • University and college students, senior school pupils and supporters
  • Ideal if you are considering further education or a career in cyber

This will be a fun, informal session and we look forward to welcoming you to the University of Glasgow.

About Graduate Apprenticeships at UofG:

The Univeristy of Glasgow School of Computing Science offers a Software Engineering Gradaute Apprenticeship Degree. The programme welcomes school and college leavers and career changers and provides opportunities to specialise in areas including cyber secruity. SP Energy Networks partner with the University of Glasgow to deliver their Software Engineering Gradaute Apprenticeships.
