Iftar Evening with SYLA and MFMac

Participate in a day of fasting with the SYLA. This event serves as an opportunity for everyone to experience and appreciate the significance of Ramadan firsthand. We are delighted to be joined by Sheriff Principal Anwar, who will deliver a short talk on Ramadan and her experience of the month as a Muslim in the legal profession.

The evening will also include a Qur’anic recitation by Madinah Javed.

Following the informative session, participants shall gather for a communal iftar (breaking of the fast) where participants can enjoy a meal together. This will not only facilitate bonding and camaraderie but also offer an authentic experience of breaking the fast in the company of others. The iftar is sponsored by Morton Fraser MacRoberts.

The event will be taking place at Morton Fraser MacRoberts’ Glasgow Office, Capella, 60 York Street, G2 8JX.

This is an inclusive event, and we warmly invite everyone to experience the spiritual practices of Ramadan and connect with others in the legal community.
