❤️ A SPECIAL COMMUNITY DINNER AT THE LYCHGATE ❤️On thursday 12th November, we’re honoured to be hosting a special dinner for veterans, elderly members of our community, and anyone who may be in need of a little support or company.
Coming just after Remembrance Sunday, we’ll take some time to remember and honour those who served, fought and lost their lives defending the freedoms we have today. 🇬🇧🌺
🪖 WWII Vehicles & Military Displays
We’ll have World War Two vehicles and weapons on display for you to come along and see.
🎶 Live Music from Ken Scaly
Ken Scaly will be singing songs from the era, helping us remember the music and memories of a very different time.
🥣 Food from Our Community Garden
We’ll be serving homemade soup and fruit crumble, made using produce from our very own Lychgate Community Garden. 🌱❤️
Most importantly, this is about community, friendship, remembering and making sure nobody feels alone.
If you’re a veteran, elderly, living alone, or simply someone who could benefit from a warm meal and some company, you are very welcome at The Lychgate.
