About this Event
Friday Club is Wigan’s relaxed, end-of-week networking event, bringing together local professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners in a friendly, informal setting.
Hosted by Cotton Works at Feast at the Mills, our monthly meet-up is all about connection, conversation, and community.
What started back in March 2025 as a small gathering of local professionals has quickly grown into one of Wigan’s most enjoyable and authentic networking events. Each month, we introduce something a little different, from casual meet-and-greets to inspiring Spotlight Talks, where members of our community share their stories, experiences, and expertise.
Whether you’re a freelancer, business owner, or part of a local team, Friday Club is open to everyone. There’s no pressure and no pitches, just great people and great conversation to round off your week.
Free drink on entry.

About Forbes Solicitors
Forbes Solicitors is a national law firm with deep Lancashire roots, more than 230 specialists and offices across Lancashire, Manchester, Leeds and London. They work with everyone from start-ups to established companies and public sector organisations, helping them keep up with changing legislation, and they do it in plain English: friendly people who listen first, then give straightforward, practical advice. Recognised by both the Legal 500 and Chambers directories, they’re known for making the law feel less like jargon and more like a conversation.
Joining us on the day is Jenny Burke, Corporate Partner at Forbes, for a live Q&A. Jenny leads on major transactions and wider business advice, so bring along whatever’s been sat at the back of your mind and put it to someone who deals with it every day, whatever your business or sector.
Come along on Friday 13th November, 3 to 5pm, for a drink and a catch up with the Forbes team.
