Two Years Later, Recovery ContinuesAs we approach two years since Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we are honoring our community’s resilience, recognizing the neighbors and organizations that stepped forward, and helping shine a light on more than 60 families who still need help rebuilding.
On September 24, Hurricane Help Florida will bring the community together to support continued recovery, connect families with trusted resources and prepare for the storms ahead at the Bob Buckhorn River Center in Tampa. The event will connect local families with trusted recovery resources and distribute 750 free hurricane preparedness kits, including 250 pet kits, filled with essential supplies for power outages, evacuations and other challenges caused by major storms.
