This two-day training is designed for professionals, caregivers, educators, community support workers, and wellness practitioners who work with individuals experiencing mental health challenges in the home, community, school, or clinical setting.
Participants will learn foundational Reiki practices that may support relaxation, grounding, self-awareness, emotional regulation, energetic boundaries, and overall well-being. Reiki will be presented as a complementary wellness practice and not a substitute for licensed mental health or medical treatment.

Reiki Training for Mental Health: Reiki I & II
Reiki Training for Mental Health is a two-day experiential training designed for individuals who work with or support people experiencing mental health challenges in the home, community, school, behavioral health, clinical, caregiving, or wellness setting.
The training introduces Reiki as a complementary mind-body-spirit practice that can be used to support relaxation, grounding, self-awareness, stress reduction, emotional regulation, and personal well-being.
Participants will explore Reiki through both personal practice and supportive applications. Particular attention will be given to ethical use, consent, trauma awareness, energetic boundaries, professional scope of practice, and appropriate integration when working with vulnerable populations.
Reiki I introduces the foundations of Reiki, energetic awareness, self-Reiki, grounding, hand positions, creating a supportive healing environment, and foundational practice.
Reiki II expands upon Reiki I through deeper energetic techniques, traditional Reiki symbols, distance Reiki concepts, intention-based practice, and considerations for integrating Reiki into professional and community settings.
This training does not teach participants to diagnose or treat mental health disorders through Reiki. Reiki is presented as a complementary wellness practice that may be used alongside appropriate mental health and medical care.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Describe foundational principles and practices of Reiki I and Reiki II.
- Demonstrate basic Reiki hand positions and self-Reiki techniques.
- Identify grounding and centering practices that may support emotional regulation and practitioner well-being.
- Explain the importance of informed consent when incorporating Reiki into supportive or professional settings.
- Recognize the difference between complementary Reiki practice and licensed mental health or medical treatment.
- Apply trauma-aware principles when offering Reiki to individuals experiencing emotional or psychological distress.
- Identify ethical considerations related to boundaries, dual roles, touch, documentation, and scope of practice.
- Describe ways Reiki may be incorporated into home, community, school, wellness, and behavioral health environments.
- Demonstrate awareness of energetic boundaries and practitioner self-care.
- Identify situations in which referral to a licensed medical or mental health professional is appropriate.
