Award-winning songwriter Reg Meuross is one of the most respected voices in contemporary English folk. Described by Mike Harding as “one of this country’s finest”, Reg combines a beautiful tenor voice with masterful musicianship and a rare gift for storytelling.Accompanying himself on his vintage 1944 Martin guitar, harmonica, tenor guitar, banjo and dulcimer, Reg performs songs of compassion, social justice, history and humanity. This intimate concert will draw from his 17 critically acclaimed albums, including Fire and Dust—the powerful song cycle commissioned by Pete Townshend, exploring the life of Woody Guthrie and themes of racism, corruption and inequality.
