About this Event
Hot Honey returns to Refuge with two-time GRAMMY nominee TEED, bringing his DJ-Kicks tour to Brooklyn.
The UK-born, US-based artist, producer, singer-songwriter, DJ, and label head has performed everywhere from London’s fabric to Red Rocks, released platinum-certified records, and collaborated with or remixed artists including Bonobo, SG Lewis, The Blessed Madonna, ODESZA, Gorgon City, and Lane 8.
His new DJ-Kicks album pulls together original music, exclusive tracks, and club selections inspired by his deep-rooted love of electronic music and the late-night energy of Los Angeles. The tour brings that world to the dance floor: uptempo, soulful, club-ready, and full of nuance.
Joining him are Brooklyn-based DJs Ksenyeah and Manguito. Co-founder of NYC Rave Girls, Ksenyeah has played across New York at Knockdown Center, House of Yes, Elsewhere, Signal, and Dead Letter No. 9. Manguito, an Aionia resident , has brought his playful, high-energy sound to Outer Heaven, Honey’s, Bogart House, and dance floors across the city. Together, they bring undeniable chemistry and a shared love of House music.
Opening the day are Hot Honey residents Anna Collecta + Deo’Jorge setting the tone with their signature mix of house, electronic and global grooves.
Refuge Hi-Def Dance Club is a 500-cap underground nightclub in East Williamsburg built around sound, energy, and atmosphere. At its core is REX, a custom 4-point system designed by co-founder Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu, with four 10-foot stacks surrounding the dance floor for a powerful, immersive experience. Each night is curated to push that system to its full potential — a true Musical Arts Performance in every sense.
