About this Event
Maybe you're a big reader, love the written word or enjoy character dissection at your book club (over drinks) but haven't put pen to paper yourself... OR maybe you're a writer who needs to shake up their process, relinquish control and need could use a relaxed, supportive environment to experiment?
In this session, we will look into using the art of reflection to aid our creativity and take what we can from the year that has been 2026! With focus on the process & not the result, we'll work with various prompts and stimuli to see what the stories we've got to tell.
Morgan-Drew Glasgow of Secondhand Rhiannon Theatre Co. is a playwright, actor, book worm and prose & poetry lover. This workshop is designed to quiet your inner critic, encourage critical thinking, and reveal thoughts and ideas surrounding creative writing that you didn't know you had.
*Please note that there will be no reading work aloud required although we will have discussions surrounding the stimilus, ideas or process. No pressure to speak but as long as you're happy to be in a chatty environment.
**Come from 6.15pm for a cuppa and a shop in Good Days - this is a great excuse to treat yourself to a new notebook/pen combo.
