BEYOND is a documentary that gives viewers a rare, intimate look inside one of America's most notorious maximum security prisons: Sing Sing. With unprecedented access, the filmmakers follow a group of incarcerated men as they prepare for "Beyond the Block," a TED-style public speaking symposium where they share personal narratives centered on redemption, vulnerability, and systemic change. The film traces their journeys from auditions to their climactic moments on stage.
BEYOND serves as a companion to the acclaimed feature film Sing Sing (2023), which dramatized the Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program.
