For nearly two seasons, DJ Like Mike has ruled over the VDBL R&B division as the King of R&B Champion, putting together the most dominant championship reign in VDBL history. Challenger after challenger stepped up, and Like Mike continued to walk away with the crown.
But now, he has chosen to vacate the King of R&B Championship.
He wasn't defeated for it. He wasn't stripped of it. After running through the division, Like Mike has decided to step away from the throne, leaving one of the VDBL's most coveted championships without a King.
So what happens next?
VDBL PRESENTS: LOVE IS WAR
On Sunday, September 27th, Spin Warz returns with something we've never done before: an entire battle event dedicated exclusively to R&B.
For one night, DJs will go head-to-head using nothing but the genre where emotions run high, selections matter, deep cuts can change everything, and knowing the music is just as important as knowing how to mix it.
And this time, they're fighting for more than bragging rights.
Before the night is over, a NEW VDBL King of R&B Champion will be crowned. 👑
