Take part in the Great Scottish Squirrel Survey! Come and meet some of the staff from Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels as they answer all your squirrely questions. Have a go at identifying squirrel hair samples under the microscope!

09:30-09:35 – Opening comments
09:35-10:15 – Squirrel history, ecology, distribution and management
10.15-10:45 – Squirrel monitoring
10:45-11:00 – Break
11:00-12:00 – Squirrel Walk
12:00-12:30 – Activities and networking
Sign up: we've got 50 spaces available for this session. Remeber to get a ticket for each person in your party who'll be coming along.
What to bring: suitable clothes for a walk outdoors in the Scottish weaather.
Directions for parking/meet up: turn into Glentress off A72. Once past the barrier follow the signs for Forest Holidays, heading straight on up to Forest Holidays Retreat car park.
Parking and the exit barrier: we'll give you a code at the meet up giving you free parking until 2pm. Just before leaving Glentress find the nearest paystation and input your vehicle registration and the code. The barrier will then lift automatically on exiting.
