About this Event
Join us at Yate Library for an afternoon of intrigue, drama, and deduction as The Red Herrings bring their immersive M**der mystery to life. It’s up to you, the audience, to help interrogate the suspects and uncover the truth.
The Plot:
Set in 1881 at The Black Rose, a hostelry at the foot of a steep ascent into a narrow pass in the Lake District. This is a place where travellers hire extra horses to pull up the rise. There is a ruined castle high above the Inn where there have been rumours of vampire activity. Bandits are said to lie in wait beside the road to prey on unwary travellers.
One of the guests, Miss Victoria Jewell, is missing. Has she fallen victim to the vampires which are said to roam the ruined castle nearby? Or is there a less supernatural explanation?
