About this Event
When cardiopulmonary arrest occurs, every second counts. Preparation, teamwork, and technical skill can make the difference between life and death.
Join us at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital – Akron for the RECOVER Rescuer CPR Certification Workshop, an immersive, hands-on training experience designed to help veterinary professionals respond confidently and effectively during cardiopulmonary emergencies.
This workshop is based on the internationally recognized RECOVER CPR guidelines, the first and only evidence-based veterinary CPR standards. Training is led by Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital’s RVT, VTS (ECC) critical care specialists, who bring real-world emergency and critical care expertise to the classroom.
Participants will complete a 6-hour RACE-approved lecture and simulation-based training session covering both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) techniques. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, attendees will strengthen the coordination, communication, and technical skills required to perform high-quality CPR in clinical settings.
Upon successful completion, participants will earn RECOVER CPR certification through ACVECC, valid for two years.
