About this Event
Stand with us.
Walk with us.
Reclaim the Night.
Join us for a powerful walk around Centenary Square as we come together in solidarity, visibility and hope.
This year, we’re going bigger and bolder than ever, and we’re expecting our biggest turnout yet, so please make sure you secure your ticket.
Reclaim the Night is more than a march. It’s a movement. A collective stand for a future where women and girls can live, travel and enjoy public spaces freely, without fear of violence, harassment or abuse.
Our message is clear: everyone has the right to feel safe, day or night. The responsibility for violence lies with the person causing harm, never the person experiencing it.
Take a stand. Make some noise. Reclaim the Night.
What to expect
Red flags to wave, lantern bearers and a walk around Centenary Square

After the walk, One City Park will host speeches from Deputy Mayor of Yorkshire Alison Lowe, Charles Dacres and Ikram Butt. We will also have victim-survivor exhibitions, art installations, stalls and refreshments.
