About this Event
Realism Wildlife Painting
Learn to paint lifelike animals in acrylic in this premium three-part series at the historic Wychwood Barns, Studio 151. Over three Sundays you'll take one wildlife portrait from first sketch to finished painting, learning how artists build realistic form, texture, eyes and light.
Your three classes
- Class 1 (Sunday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM): Choose your reference, plan the composition, draw and transfer your sketch, and block in the underpainting
- Class 2 (the following Sunday, 4:00 to 6:00 PM): Build form and value, layer colour, and paint fur, feathers or hide
- Class 3 (the third Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 PM): Fine detail, eyes and highlights, final glazes and finishing touches
A new group starts every Sunday. Your ticket covers all three classes with the same small group.
