You know some tarot. Now you want to actually read.
Knowing the traditional meanings of tarot cards is important. Understanding the suits, the numbers, the symbolism, and how the cards relate to one another gives us a foundation. But there is so much more to giving a meaningful tarot reading than knowing what each card means.
Reading tarot is also about learning to trust your intuition. Being centered and grounded. Developing a relationship with your cards. Paying attention when something in a card catches your attention, when you see something you've never noticed before, or when an intuitive impression takes the reading somewhere unexpected.
And when you're reading for someone else, it's about the conversation. Listening to what your client says—and what they don't say. Asking questions. Understanding what they're hoping to explore. Allowing their responses to bring greater depth and context to what you're seeing in the cards.
After more than 26 years of reading tarot professionally, I've found that some of the most meaningful readings happen when we stop putting pressure on ourselves to be intuitively right about everything and start allowing the reading to become a conversation.
Even when we're exploring possible future events, we're not simply telling someone what's going to happen. We're helping them explore possibilities, recognize choices, and better understand their own lives.
That's what I want to share with you in Read Beyond the Cards.
During this interactive two-hour workshop, I'll share how I approach tarot, demonstrate a live reading while explaining my thought process, and give you opportunities to explore your own interpretations, questions, and intuition.
Whether you want to read for yourself, your friends and family, or eventually professionally, this class is about becoming more comfortable and confident in your ability to actually read the cards.

Bring your own tarot deck, preferably one you're already familiar with. Some basic knowledge of tarot is helpful, but you don't need to have memorized all 78 cards.
