React or Respond? The Art of Yogic Response: A Yoga Philosophy Workshop

We all know that moment: a sharp comment, a stressful situation, an unexpected setback... and we react before we've even thought.
Yoga offers another way: creating space between what happens and how we respond.
In this 75-minute workshop, we'll explore the yogic understanding of reactions, emotional patterns, and conscious response. This isn't about suppressing emotion or never reacting, it's about learning to observe what arises and choosing how we meet it.
No prior yoga or philosophy background needed.
We'll explore:
· Why we react automatically
· Mental patterns that cloud clear seeing and how they shape perception
· The space between stimulus and response
· Responding consciously vs. suppressing emotion
· Bringing this awareness into daily life
Through philosophy, discussion, breath awareness, meditation, and gentle movement, you'll experience these teachings, not just learn about them.
🍵 Tea and a quiet moment to settle in are part of the experience.
