INNER WEST COUNCIL'S LABOR MAJORITY IS PROPOSING EVEN MORE MASSIVE REZONING AND HERITAGE DE-LISTING WITH THEIR 'OUR FAIRER FUTURE' PLANS 1 AND 2.https://yoursay.innerwest.nsw.gov.au/our-fairer-future-plan-2
STAGE 2 NOTIFICATION WAS MEANT TO BEGIN WEDNESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER AND END WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER. 1000 PAGES OF RE-ZONING. HAVE YOU HEARD ANYTHING?
MANY RESIDENTS HAVE RECEIVED THEIR NOTIFICATION OF STAGE 2 LETTERS WEEKS LATE.
MANY RESIDENTS HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING.
DOES EVERYONE IN THE INNER WEST GET TOLD? WHO EVEN
KNOWS.
Even if the plans were fantastic - which they are not - this is completely undemocratic to not tell residents about these plans.
Please join us outside the council meeting and let the Labor councillors know we will not stand for it.
Inspired by brand new group 'No Highrise Lilyfield' who called this rally and we are happy to spread the word.
