First event of the season is the Concord Ryde SC Marathon on Saturday 24th October with the heron at 1.30pm and burger night in the club after the race. This is a great fun event allowing us to sail up the river mastering tides, wind bends, chain ferries, passing other sailing clubs, under Gladesville bridge, into Hen and Chicken bay and home for a well earned burger. It’s an adventure not to be missed.
