Location: Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza (Robson Square side) Date & Time: Sunday, December 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM PST
Join us at the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza as we gather peacefully to advocate for equity, recognition, and systemic reform for cold-blooded citizens everywhere! Whether you thrive in subterranean havens or reside on the surface, it is time to raise our collective voice for systemic change.
10 Things We Stand For Change:
Universal Legal Recognition: Full civil rights, protection, and legal status for all reptilian citizens under Earth laws.
Equal Access to Heat Sources: Standardized installation of high-powered basking spots and infrared heat lamps in all public spaces, workplaces, and transit hubs.
Protection Against Shedding Discrimination: Strict anti-discrimination policies protecting individuals during natural molting and skin-shedding cycles in professional and social settings.
Invasive Thermal Scans & Healthcare Equity: Specialized medical care tailored to cold-blooded physiology without forced body-temperature disclosures or invasive thermal imaging.
Subterranean & Habitat Rights: Preservation, protection, and legal sovereignty over ancestral subterranean tunnels, rock formations, and underground habitats.
End to Cold-Blooded Stereotyping: Eliminating harmful tropes in media, news, and entertainment that frame reptilian individuals as secretive or sinister rulers.
Dietary Inclusivity in Public Venues: Inclusion of raw, live, and specialized dietary options in public cafeterias, event centers, and airline meal programs.
Scale Care & Moisture Accessibility: Public access to proper humidity control, specialized hydration, and scale-maintenance products across municipal facilities.
Transparent Surface Integration: Creating safe, respectful, and transparent pathways for subterranean residents to live and work peacefully on the surface.
Reproductive & Nest Protection: Legal safeguards and designated peaceful environments for clutch nesting, incubation, and juvenile rearing.
What to bring: Signs, banners, warming pads, and portable basking lights if needed. All cold-blooded allies and surface supporters are welcome!
