The rally will focus on raising public awareness about several issues affecting West Virginians, including:
1. Opposition to the proposed Morgantown natural gas power plant.
2. Rising utility rates and the financial burden placed on working families.
3. The rapid expansion of energy-intensive data centers and their impacts on our electric grid and utility bills.
4. Opposition to the Valley North Transmission Line project and its impacts on West Virginia communities and property owners.
5. Protecting West Virginia's clean water and ensuring responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
Our goal is to create a space where organizations, advocates, stakeholders, and citizens can come together to educate the public and encourage thoughtful discussions about West Virginia's energy future.
