Rainham Town Centre Partnership Meeting

MEETING OVERVIEW
The meeting gives you the chance to connect with fellow community members, share ideas, and collaborate on initiatives to enhance our town centre. 

We will be going through a number of updates, including the latest on the publication of the Rainham Reimagined Delivery Plan, and details on our proposals for three projects to make the town centre a better place to live, work, learn and visit: 

• Orchard Square: a reimagined central square for markets, events, planting and public art 

• High Street connections: targeted crossings, pavements, greening and shopfront improvements along the High Street 

• Three Trails: named walking routes (the Heritage, Station, and Cozenton trails) connecting the town centre to the conservation area, railway station and the green network, each walkable in under 15 minutes. 

Several improvements will be delivered between August 2026 and 31 March 2027 to make Rainham town centre an even better place to live, work, learn and visit. We will go through these plans during the meeting. 

These projects will be part-funded through S106 developer contributions.
