Join Radical Ahjummas N. Jooyoun Kim (The Last Story of Mina Lee, What We Kept to Ourselves), Margaret Juhae Lee (Starry Field: A Memoir of Lost History), and NEA Fellow S. Isabel Choi for an intimate celebration of Theresa Hak Kyung Cha’s DICTEE, a genre-challenging ode to grief, memory, and love, with traditional drumming by KQT (Korean Queer & Trans) Pungmul, Brooklyn’s Yellow Peril Books, and drinks and bites for purchase by James Beard Award–winner Irene Yoo (Soju Party).
Radical Ahjumma created Dictee 서포트그룹 / Support Group in conversation with BAMPFA's "Theresa Hak Kyung Cha: Multiple Offerings," the first retrospective in 25 years dedicated to the groundbreaking work of of the artist, which will be on view at the Artists Space in NYC from Sept. 11 to Nov. 21, 2026.
