About this Event
Queer Conversations is a bi-monthly event in a relaxed and inclusive environment meant to explore meaningful topics related to queer identity, mental health, wellness, and thriving within our communities. Whether you're looking to share your experiences, listen, or simply be in community with others, this space is for you.
November Queer Conversations Prompt: The Queer Things that make Life a Little Better
A lighthearted conversation about the little things, big things, people, places, and experiences that bring queer joy into everyday life.
Sample conversation starters :
- What’s your favourite queer movie, show, song, book, or piece of art?
- What’s something wonderfully queer that you wish everyone could experience?
- Who is someone who makes you feel completely yourself? (in your life or a public figure)
- What’s your favourite queer event, tradition, or community activity?
- What’s something you think deserves way more queer celebration? (i.e. top surgery celebration cakes)
