Ean is bringing sexy back. A reflection to night time Ecstatic Dances of the past with deep undulating rhythms. Spaciousness and dynamics that invite us to drop in deeply with ourselves and others. This journey will be well suited for partner dance styles such as contact improvisation and fusion, while also being energetic enough to leave the solo dancer exhausted with ecstatic bliss by the end. Expect to experience big dynamic ranges, with moments of bombastic energy contrasted by periods of delicious intimacy and an afterglow that will stay with you like a beautiful tan for days after…

Before Ecstatic Dance he spent two decades as a touring DJ, playing everything from Space Ibiza to Watergate Berlin to EDC. A technology pioneer, he helped build the tools of the trade: he founded DJ TechTools and holds design credits on the Kontrol S4, Novation Dicer and Midi Fighter. In 2017 he left the club circuit for Ecstatic Dance to save his ears and his soul. He founded Ecstatic Dance Santa Barbara, where he has played almost every week for six years, and has played dances from Berlin to Bali, Oakland to Salt Lake City.
His sets are wild, expressive, cinematic and cathartic: a wide mix of genres and tempos, built as a story with real range. A dancer himself, he plays music that invites the full bandwidth of what a body can feel.

Saunter onto the dance floor, ready to awaken your senses and activate your dance. This guided warm-up invites you to deepen your body awareness and access catharsis through authentic movement. We will gradually transition from solo movement exploration into playful partner and group practices that build trust, attunement, and a shared somatic language. Inspired by principles of Contact Improvisation and Fusion Dance, we'll explore how listening through the body and expanding extra-sensory awareness can open new possibilities for creativity and connection. All levels of experience are welcome to join.

Hannah Jo is a Santa Barbara-based facilitator with a passion for guiding people to slow down and feel themselves more deeply. Whether through her professional work as an Intimacy & Relationship Coach or her group facilitation, she brings a playful and energetically attuned presence to every space she holds. Hannah Jo is one of the organizers of the Santa Barbara Contact Improv Jam and regularly facilitates at Ecstatic Dance Santa Barbara.
