About this Event
Pyletribe
Combining the iconic talents of Legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd member and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame drummer, Artimus Pyle, and the Infectious vocals and guitar licks of son, Chris Pyle, Pyletribe creates their own percussion influenced style called Southern Fried Tribal Boogie. With Pyletribe, there is a thick thread of Lynyrd Skynyrd running thru the emsemble atop a keen focus on original melodies and deep dives into the world of percussion and tribal music.
Chris Pyle states, “Pyletribe has been in the making my entire life. I picked up the guitar and started writing songs, and of course, I had to have my Dad on drums. Playing with my Dad, who of course was in one of the Biggest, most Iconic Bands in History has been a Joy! We share a bond musically, which is like breathing to us. We don’t have to think about it.”
Artimus Pyle says, “The main thing we are trying to do right now is establish Pyletribe as a Southern Rock Legacy Band. We have something we have something we feel is really special abd I play Chris’ songs with the same fervor and ferocity that I play Lynyrd Skynyrd songs.”
Pyletribe’s music is featured in Street Survivors, The true story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash that took the lives of legendary vocalist, Ronnie Van Zandt, iconic guitarist, Steve Gaines, his sister and backup singer, Cassie Gaines, their assistant road manager and both the pilot and co-pilot.
