And for the final weekend of our very first Applegate Pumpkin Patch season…
WE’RE GOING OUT WITH A BANG.
Welcome to APPLEGATE’S HALLOWEEKEND!
Three days of costumes, candy, movies beneath the stars, spooky fun, haunted hayrides and one last chance to experience everything we’ve built at Applegate this fall.
And because Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, we’re making an entire weekend of it.

🍬👻 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 — TRUNK-OR-TREAT + HAUNTED FRIDAY NIGHT
Friday starts with the kids.
It ends considerably less kid-friendly. 😳
🍬 5:30–7:30 PM — APPLEGATE TRUNK-OR-TREAT
Bring the kids in costume and trick-or-treat your way around the farm!
We’re inviting families, businesses and community members to bring a vehicle, fill the trunk with candy and join us.
Decorate a little.
Decorate a LOT.
Or create something completely ridiculous.
Because we’re giving away:
🏆 $100 CASH FOR THE BEST TRUNK!
7:30 PM — Best Trunk winner announced!
Then grab your blankets, refill the popcorn and head for the movie lawn.

🎬 7:45 PM — HOCUS POCUS — PG
Our Friday family movie begins immediately after Trunk-or-Treat so families don’t have to choose between collecting candy and watching the movie.
When the movie ends, however…
Applegate gets considerably darker.

🚜👻 9:30 PM — HAUNTED HAYRIDES BEGIN
This is NOT our regular daytime hayride.
And this is NOT our little-kid spooky ride.
After dark, the back of Applegate becomes something else entirely.
Climb aboard and head into the darkness.
Through the fields.
Past the trees.
Around places on the farm that seem perfectly harmless during daylight.
And try not to think too hard about what’s moving out there.

🎟️ FULL HAUNTED HAYRIDE — $15 PER PERSON
⚠️ IMPORTANT: HAUNTED HAYRIDES HAVE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIMES.
When you purchase your ticket, you will choose a specific departure time.
Friday pre-movie departures:

We will then PAUSE Haunted Hayride departures so our horror-movie crowd doesn’t have to choose between the hayride and the movie.

When the movie ends, we’re going back into the darkness.
These are the final—and latest—rides of Friday night.
THE MIDNIGHT RIDE — $18 PER PERSON

Scheduled departures.
Limited seats.
Full haunted experience.
Very dark farm.
And absolutely no promise that whatever followed the wagon on the 9:30 ride has gone home yet.

The Midnight Ride is our premium late-night Haunted Hayride experience and is recommended for older teens and adults.

🎃👻 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 — HALLOWEEN AT APPLEGATE
It’s Halloween.
It’s Saturday.
It’s our final Saturday of pumpkin season.
We couldn’t possibly behave ourselves.

Come spend Halloween on the farm!
We’ll have costumes, games, pumpkins, animals, Halloween surprises, food, photo opportunities and all of your favorite Applegate attractions throughout the day.

🚜🎃 5:30–6:30 PM — FAMILY SPOOKY HAYRIDES
THIS is the ride for our younger ghosts and goblins.

✨ A little spooky farm atmosphere
…but NO major scares, jump scares or actors chasing anybody.
🎟️ FAMILY SPOOKY HAYRIDE — $7 PER PERSON
Family Spooky Hayrides will also operate by SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIMES so families aren’t stuck standing in a giant line.
Choose your ride time when purchasing your ticket.
These rides are designed especially for families and younger children.

After your early Family Spooky Hayride, grab your blankets and settle in for our Halloween family movie beneath the stars.
Or choose a later Haunted Hayride departure and do BOTH!
🎟️ Movie admission is separate from Pumpkin Patch and Hayride admission.

👻🚜 7:00 PM — FULL HAUNTED HAYRIDES BEGIN
Once darkness settles over Applegate…
The friendly hayride is over.
From 7:00–10:30 PM, the Full Haunted Hayride takes over.
🎟️ FULL HAUNTED HAYRIDE — $15 PER PERSON
These rides include our complete nighttime haunted experience and are intended for guests who actually WANT to be scared.
⚠️ ALL HAUNTED HAYRIDES ARE SCHEDULED DEPARTURES.
You aren’t buying a ticket to stand in line all evening.
You’re buying a ride TIME.
That means you can enjoy the pumpkin patch, grab dinner, watch the movie or play until it’s time for your scheduled departure.
We’ll offer departures throughout the evening, with exact available times selected when tickets are purchased.
Advance reservations will be strongly encouraged because each departure has limited seating.

And because Saturday is actually Halloween…
We’re doing it again.
When the regular Haunted Hayrides finish, our bravest guests can take one of the final rides of the entire night.

👻 FULL HAUNTED HAYRIDE — $15
Our complete nighttime haunted attraction with scares, actors and surprises along the route. Recommended for older kids, teens and adults who enjoy being scared.
🌙 MIDNIGHT HAUNTED HAYRIDE — $18
Our premium late-night version of the Full Haunted Hayride. Limited scheduled departures for our bravest nighttime visitors.
ALL THREE HAYRIDE EXPERIENCES USE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIMES.
Your ticket reserves your departure.
Please arrive at the Hayride Boarding Area 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
Late arrivals may have to wait for an available seat on another departure and cannot be guaranteed.

And then comes Sunday.
No midnight rides.
No monsters hiding in the woods.
No enormous finale.
Just one last fall day at Applegate.
One last pumpkin.
One last trip down the slide.
One last round of putt-putt.
One last visit with the animals.
One last cinnamon roll.
One last family picture.
And one last chance to say:
“Remember when we did this at Applegate?”
Sunday is the final day of our very first Applegate Pumpkin Patch season.
And that’s going to be a little bittersweet.
We planted pumpkins.
We built ridiculous things.
We created seven completely different weekends.
We invited our community onto our farm.
And somewhere along the way, this became more than a pumpkin patch.
It became stories our kids will tell.
Pictures hanging on refrigerators.
Traditions we didn’t know we were starting.
And memories that belong not just to our family—but to every family who came through our gates. ❤️
If you’ve been here every weekend…
Come say goodbye.
If you’ve been meaning to visit all season…
This is it.
And if your kid asks to go down that giant slide one more time?
Let them.
Because the pumpkins will grow again.
The games will come back out.
We’ll dream up even more ridiculous things for next year.
But there will only ever be one first year.
And we’d love for you to be part of how it ends.
