🦃 THANKFUL AT APPLEGATE 🍂A Farm Thanksgiving Weekend
📅 Saturday, November 14 & Sunday, November 15, 2026
📍 Applegate Farms MO
Before the Christmas season begins, we’re setting aside one special weekend at Applegate to celebrate family, friends, food, laughter, traditions—and everything we have to be thankful for.
Join us for Thankful at Applegate, a two-day farm Thanksgiving celebration!
Saturday is all about family fun, Thanksgiving traditions, crafts, pies and turkeys. Then on Sunday, we’re gathering around the table for Friendsgiving at the Farm, complete with our first-ever Applegate Turkey Bowl, a traditional Thanksgiving feast and a movie to finish the night.
And YES—all of your favorite Applegate farm games and activities will be open BOTH DAYS!
⸻
🍁 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14
🦃 Applegate Family Thanksgiving Day
Bring the whole family for a day of old-fashioned Thanksgiving fun on the farm!
🦃 The Great Applegate Turkey Hunt
Turkeys have escaped all over Applegate!
Search the farm for hidden turkeys. Some may be worth special prizes—and somewhere out there will be the coveted GOLDEN TURKEY!
🏃 The Applegate Turkey Trot
This isn’t your typical 5K!
We’re talking silly races, family fun, little gobblers and plenty of opportunities to laugh at the people you love.
🥧 The Great Applegate Pie Contest
Think your Thanksgiving pie is the one everybody talks about?
Bring it to Applegate and prove it!
We’ll have categories including:
🍎 Apple • 🎃 Pumpkin • 🥧 Pecan • ⭐ Anything Goes • 👩🍳 Junior Baker
Pie contest entry is FREE with paid farm admission.
And don’t worry if baking isn’t your talent—we’ll have plenty of Applegate baked goods available, too!
We’ll also be taking Thanksgiving preorders, so you can let us do some of the baking this year.
🎨 Thanksgiving Craft Stations
We’ll have multiple Thanksgiving and fall make-and-take projects available throughout the day.
Because some crafts are simple and others require considerably more materials, crafts will be individually priced rather than added to everyone’s admission.
Expected craft prices: approximately $3–$15.
Choose one, choose several, or skip the crafts and spend your day playing!
🍁 The Applegate Gratitude Tree
Before you leave, add a leaf to our Gratitude Tree telling us what YOU are thankful for.
By the end of the weekend, we hope to have a tree filled with hundreds of reasons to be grateful. ❤️
🦃 Turkey Time & Farm Animals
Come meet the animals of Applegate—including some very appropriate feathered friends for Thanksgiving weekend!
⸻
🎬 SATURDAY NIGHT THANKSGIVING DOUBLE FEATURE

🏈 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15
🍽️ FRIENDSGIVING AT APPLEGATE

Friends. Family. Football. Farm animals. A huge meal. A fire. And a funny movie afterward.
Welcome to our first Friendsgiving at Applegate!
⸻
🏆 THE FIRST ANNUAL APPLEGATE TURKEY BOWL
What’s Thanksgiving without backyard football?
We’re bringing the tradition to the farm with FLAG FOOTBALL!
We’ll have opportunities for different ages to get in on the fun, including our Little Gobblers and our bigger kids, teens and adults.
You don’t need to bring a team. Come ready to play and we’ll organize teams at the farm.
And yes…
There needs to be a ridiculous Applegate Turkey Bowl Trophy. 🏆🦃
The Turkey Bowl is included with Sunday farm admission.
⸻
🍽️ FRIENDSGIVING FEAST
After football, it’s time to EAT.
We’re gathering around the table for a traditional farm-style Thanksgiving dinner with all the things that make Thanksgiving dinner Thanksgiving dinner.
Think:
🦃 Turkey
🍖 Ham
🥔 Mashed potatoes & gravy
🍞 Dressing
🌽 Traditional Thanksgiving sides
🥖 Rolls
🍒 Cranberry sauce
🥧 Dessert
Then grab a warm drink, head toward the bonfire and settle in for our Sunday night movie.
⸻
🚨 FRIENDSGIVING RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED 🚨
RESERVATION DEADLINE: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10
This part is VERY important!
The Friendsgiving Feast is ADVANCE RESERVATION ONLY.

Therefore, ALL Friendsgiving meal reservations must be made and paid by NOVEMBER 10.
Please do not assume you can purchase Friendsgiving dinner when you arrive Sunday.
You are absolutely welcome to visit the farm Sunday without a Friendsgiving reservation—but Sunday farm admission does NOT guarantee a Friendsgiving meal.
👶 Children ages 2 & under eat FREE, but they MUST still be included in your reservation headcount.

❤️ WHY “THANKFUL AT APPLEGATE”?
After a busy fall season, we wanted one weekend that wasn’t about scary things, Christmas presents or rushing to the next holiday.
Just being together.
Come write something on our Gratitude Tree.
Bake Grandma’s pie recipe.
Let the kids hunt for turkeys.
Challenge somebody to flag football.
Visit the animals.
Sit around a fire.
Eat too much.
Watch a movie under the November sky.
And spend a weekend remembering that sometimes the very best things we have aren’t things at all.
