Psychological Professions (PP) Equality Diversity and Inclusion Workshop:

This is an exciting opportunity to attend a PP workshop on developing cultural competence in supervision. The workshop focuses on the new SPFT PP Culturally Sensitive Supervision Guidance and its practice. There will be space to use some of the supervision tools and to hear about developments in this area from the Surrey Clinical Psychology training scheme.

Due to the size of the training room, we only have 120 spaces and want to ensure that those who are invited:

· bring lived experience as a supervisee and/or experience of providing supervision to others;

· are motivated and interested in cross-cultural supervision and would like to develop their confidence and competence in providing more culturally sensitive supervision within the context of an increasingly diverse PP workforce;

· have experience of culturally sensitive supervision, or feel they may have benefited from this, and would value the opportunity to contribute those perspectives; and

· include PP staff in leadership roles who can help support the development of EDI initiatives in this area.
