For over a year, playing any musical instrument has been banned in the centre of Birmingham. The on-the-spot fine is about to go up to £500.We are gathering to protest against this ban, outside the Rotunda (intersection of New Street and High Street) from 2pm on Wednesday 4 November.
There will be some busking and some short (60 second) speeches.
The event is organised by Campaign for Freedom in Everyday Life and Keep Streets Live, and supported by organisations including the Musicians Union.
If you want to give a supporting quote or make a speech email [email protected]
If you want to play a set email David (KSL): [email protected]
If you can’t come, share this event with those who might be able to.
Bring back the music!
