About this Event
Engineers Australia UK is pleased to host a technical session exploring how physical and digitally engineered assets can be protected against malicious threats, drawing on realworld experience from the UK Government’s national technical authority for protective security.
The session will examine the range of malicious threats facing industry and its clients, and how vulnerabilities can be mitigated through forethought and proportionate counter measures. It will also highlight the security mindedness increasingly required of engineering professionals.
Our speaker is the Head of Physical Security from the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) — the UK Government’s National Technical Authority for physical and personnel protective security, with expertise spanning counter terrorism and state based threats. Operating as part of the UK security community, NPSA provides expert advice to government and industry, informed by intelligence and a unique understanding of the threat landscape.
Refreshments and networking will be available ahead of the presentation, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with peers from across the engineering and infrastructure community.
