Keynote Speaker: Dan Olsen on “Product Management in the Age of AI”
Dan Olsen is the author of The Lean Product Playbook, widely considered the go-to book on product innovation, and one of Silicon Valley’s most sought-after product management thought leaders. More recently, he’s become one of the leading voices on how AI is reshaping products, the PM discipline, and PM careers — exactly the conversation our community needs right now. He’ll share his latest thinking with us in “Product Management in the Age of AI.”
Dan is a Product Camp alum: he spoke in 2018 on “How to Craft a Winning Message” and has covered UX design for product managers on our stage before that. He’s also been a featured speaker for Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA) on multiple occasions. Full bio below.
Who Should Attend
Product Camp is built for product managers, product owners, product marketers, UX/design leads, founders, and anyone building a product career in Silicon Valley’s tech ecosystem — whether you’re deep in hardware or software, exploring a pivot, or just trying to figure out what AI means for where your career goes next. Whatever your title, if you build, market, or manage product, this is your community.
What Is Product Camp Silicon Valley?
As AI upends nearly every aspect of how technology products are built, marketed, and managed, product professionals have never faced more uncertainty — or more opportunity. Let’s figure out how to navigate it together.
Product Camp Silicon Valley is a one-of-a-kind, one-day grassroots gathering of product managers and product professionals to share, present, network, learn, and discuss. It’s organized by Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA) and held at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California.
It’s a chance to meet as a broad community and trade ideas, best practices, use cases, and trend updates — anything that will help you at work and in your career.
Using an “unconference” format, Product Camp lets participants decide what gets presented. The morning is made up of pre-scheduled breakout sessions chosen in advance by registrants. The afternoon is entirely up to you, built from topics proposed by fellow attendees.
How it works:
- Buy your ticket.
- (Completely optional) Propose a topic you think your peers will want to hear — interactive formats like workshops, panels, and facilitated discussions are especially encouraged, though presentations are welcome too.
- In the days before the event, vote on morning session proposals.
- The morning of the event, we’ll post afternoon proposals — vote on the ones that sound most interesting.
- We’ll post the winners, and you’ll choose your sessions.
Any attendee is welcome to propose a topic they’re prepared to deliver that day.
Product Camp promotes face-to-face interaction and extends Silicon Valley’s PM social network. Come be part of the community.
