Join Colorado artist Kelly Peters for a free outdoor painting workshop at Midland Park in Basalt.
This is not a traditional follow-along painting class. We’ll focus on the process of building an abstract painting through layers, color, mark-making and experimentation. I’ll provide guidance along the way, but the goal is to give you room to explore and make the piece your own.
No painting experience is necessary. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your finished painting.

Basalt residents receive priority registration for the first 48 hours. Any remaining spots will then open to the broader Roaring Fork Valley community.
