Pride to the Polls: Buncombe County LGBTQ+ Voters and Allies Plan Community Early-Voting MeetupASHEVILLE, NC — October 17th — LGBTQ+ voters and allies in Buncombe County are being invited to join “Pride to the Polls,” a grassroots effort encouraging community members to vote early together on October 17th at 1PM.
The idea is simple: show up together, vote together, and make voting a community experience.
For some LGBTQ+ voters, particularly those who may feel uncomfortable or uncertain about going to the polls alone, there can be reassurance in knowing that friends, neighbors and allies are there too.
Participants will meet at the front of the Library and proceed together to vote
