About this Event
🌈 Pride Paint & Sip 🎨💜
FREE COMMUNITY EVENT | BYO PAINTING KIT | REGISTRATION ESSENTIAL
Join Sapphic Soul Sisters for a relaxed morning of painting, sipping and connecting at The Flaming Galah, Fremantle 🏳️🌈
Whether you're flying solo, bringing your bestie or hoping to make some new sapphic friends, this is your invitation to slow down, get creative and enjoy some good company.
🎟️ This event is FREE! All you need to do is register and BYO paint kit.
No artistic talent required. Just bring yourself, your creativity and a willingness to have a little fun!
Wait, it's FREE? What's the catch?
No catch! This is a little Pride gift from Sapphic Soul Sisters to our wonderful community 💜
We're also incredibly grateful to The Flaming Galah, who are generously donating their space so we can bring everyone together.
To show our appreciation and support this fabulous queer venue, we encourage everyone to purchase a drink or something delicious to eat while they're there 🥂
🎨 BYO Painting Kit
Whether you're a painting pro who can work their magic on a blank canvas, or you're like me and will be choosing a paint-by-numbers kit to keep things nice and simple, the choice is yours.
Already have a painting project you've started but haven't quite finished? Bring it along! Sometimes all you need is a few lovely sapphics, a drink and some good conversation to get those creative juices flowing again.
Please remember this is a BYO painting event, so you'll need to bring your own painting kit, paints and brushes.
We'll take care of the good vibes and fabulous company 💜
🛍️ Where Can I Find a Painting Kit?
With our Pride Paint & Sip just around the corner, don't leave it too late to grab your supplies!
Here are some places to find painting kits, canvases and art supplies:
Local stores – great for last-minute shopping!
- Kmart
- Officeworks
- Spotlight
Online options – check delivery times to Perth!
- Amazon Australia
- Riot Art & Craft
- SHEIN
- Paint by Numbers Australia
💡 Hot tip: If you're choosing a paint-by-numbers kit, look for a design with larger painting sections so you can spend more time chatting and less time squinting at tiny numbers 😂
🍸 Hair of the Dog, Anyone?
Let's face it, after a weekend of Perth Pride celebrations, some of us might be feeling a little worse for wear! Don't let a cheeky Pride hangover stop you from joining us!
The Flaming Galah has plenty of delicious options to help put a little pep back in your step.
🥂 Mimosas – because it's never too early for a little sparkle!
🍅 Bloody Marys – the classic hair-of-the-dog remedy.
☕ Espresso Martinis – for those who need their morning coffee with a little extra kick!
Taking a break from booze? We've got you 🍊
☕ Brewpaul Charles – a non-alcoholic espresso martini made with Lyre's Coffee Originale, sugar cane, cold brew and orgeat.
🍹 Juicy mocktails – perfect for quenching your thirst while you paint.
And if all that creativity works up an appetite, there's plenty of delicious food available, including loaded fries, cauliflower bites, burgers, nachos and croquettes.
💌 FREE Tickets – Registration Essential!
Spaces are limited and registration is essential to attend.
While this event is completely free, we kindly ask that you only register if you're genuinely planning to come.
If your plans change, please cancel your ticket so another sapphic can take your place. This helps us make the most of the space The Flaming Galah has so generously provided.
Let's celebrate Pride with a splash of colour, a little creativity and some beautiful new connections 🎨🌈💜
Can't wait to paint the morning away with you!
