Join Northern State University for the Presidential Investiture of Dr. Alan D. LaFave, Northern’s 19th president.Dr. LaFave’s investiture marks a historic moment for Northern as he becomes the first alumnus to serve as president of the university. A 1985 Northern graduate, longtime faculty member and former dean and provost, Dr. LaFave returns to Northern with more than 30 years of connections to the university and Aberdeen community.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and members of the community are invited to join us for this special celebration.
