Join us for the inaugural Preservation Trades Fair, co-hosted by Preservation Connecticut and the Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop! The goal of this event is simple: exposing guests (of all ages!) to the traditional crafts and trades associated with the historic buildings we love so much. Watch the tiling demonstration and see what YOU can do in your own home. See old windows repaired as an alternative to replacement--good for both the environment and your pocketbook. Get kids interested in this waning (but still highly needed!) line of work, either as a fun hobby or future employment opportunity. Have fun and learn new things (the perfect combo). Plus, there will be food trucks, open barn exhibits, and walking tours! We hope to see you there! No tickets required but it's nice to have a headcount! Please let us know you're coming here: https://preservationct.app.neoncrm.com/forms/preservation-trades-fair-registration
