About this Event
So much attention goes into preparing for birth, and far less into what comes after it. The fourth trimester (those first months at home with a newborn) asks a great deal of your body at exactly the moment you have the least time and sleep to look after it. This workshop is designed to be taken before you give birth, so that the support is already in place when you need it.
Join fertility and prenatal nutritional therapist Natasha Alishan for a warm, practical and evidence-based session on how nutrition supports healing, energy, mood and resilience in the weeks and months after birth. We will look at the key nutrients your body draws on for recovery, how to eat well when time and sleep are in short supply, and how nutrition supports breast milk production and quality for those who choose to breastfeed. Natasha will also share simple ways partners can help with nourishment and recovery in the early months, so that the load is shared rather than carried alone.
You will leave with realistic strategies you can put in place now, a clearer sense of what your body will need, and space to ask your own questions.
This workshop is for anyone pregnant, newly postnatal, or supporting someone who is. No prior nutrition knowledge needed.
