Come join us for this 6 week Pregnancy Yoga Course in Crosby Liverpool. Beginning November 4thWhat is Pregnancy Yoga?
Movement : to build strength, open the pelvis and ground into your root
Breath : to prepare for birth, calm the mind and build resilience within
Relaxation : to reduce stress and listen to your inner voice of intuition
Connection : to your changing body, to your beautiful baby and to the other women walking the path alongside you
We focus on movements that nourish your changing body in all stages of pregnancy, as well as breathwork that will carry you through to birth. With plenty of time for relaxation too.
This class is not about having another thing on your to-do list. It's a space for you to switch off from all the external noise and tune into what's within.
About me, your teacher:
Yoga has been a huge part of both my pregnancies and supported me through having 2 natural births with my babies.
I've been a yoga teacher for 14 years and specialised in yoga for female bodies for the last 10 of those. I teach practices that adapt with your changing body, through the cycles of menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. Because as women our bodies were never designed to feel the same way every day of our lives, so we need practices that change with us.
I adore teaching pregnancy yoga. It's such a special time and when we gather as mums to-be there really is a magic in the room. I feel honoured I get to hold that space for you as you walk the path to matrescence.
What to bring?
A pillow or 2 for relaxation and to get comfy throughout
A blanket
Water bottle
We have yoga mats but feel free to bring your own if you prefer
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in
