October 15th is Pregnancy & Infant Loss (PAIL) Awareness Day. You are warmly invited to join us in the Mothers' Milk Bank's beautiful memorial space for an evening dedicated to shared healing, connection, and remembrance. During our time together in this special space, we will view two short films, hold a community conversation, and gather for meaningful connection. Whether you are a loss parent, family member, friend, healthcare provider, or supportive community ally, this event is free and open to everyone. Together, we will honor the babies who are deeply missed, talk about supportive ways to hold and help families, and discuss how we can help shape systems of care for grieving families.
✨ WHAT TO EXPECT
🎬 Moving Short Film Screenings
We will be screening two powerful short films depicting the impact of child loss and the ripple effects of grief. Through expressive storytelling and personal reflection, these films honor the deep pain of loss while exploring the delicate journey toward hope and healing.
🕯️ 7:00 PM Candle Lighting (International Wave of Light)
At 7:00 PM, we will pause together to light candles as part of the worldwide International Wave of Light, joining families around the globe in creating a continuous wave of light in memory of all babies gone too soon.
💬 Community Conversation & Connection
Following the screenings and candle lighting, we will transition into a community conversation to reflect on the films, discuss support systems for grieving families, and connect with one another.
