About this Event
October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PAIL) Awareness Day. The PAIL Subcommittee, Gifts from Liam, UCAN, and Mothers' Milk Bank WGL invite you to join us in the beautiful memorial space at Mothers' Milk Bank for an evening dedicated to healing, connection, and remembrance. We will be screening two short films that explore pregnancy and infant loss, grief, and the journey toward hope and healing. After the screening, we will come together for the International Wave of Light candle lighting and a community discussion.
Whether you are a loss parent, family member, friend, healthcare provider, or supportive community ally, this event is free and open to everyone. Together, we will honor the babies who are deeply missed, talk about supportive ways to hold and help families, and discuss how we can help shape systems of care for grieving families.
